The National Business Group on Health recently released An Employers Guide to Employee Assistance Programs. This report serves as a stimulus for EAPs to demonstrate their value in prevention, treatment and recovery supports for working people and their families. The report calls on EAPs to differentiate from being perceived by employers as a “Healthcare Benefit” and increase being viewed as a “Workplace Performance Program”.
