Students
Students, please join us on Friday, February 17th at Adler School Chicago for a free Chapter meeting! Download the flyer here. RSVP to Priscilla Kang.
NIEAPA welcomes students to our Chapter! We offer a number of opportunities to learn more about the field of employee assistance, network with professionals and advance your career. Peruse materials online to gain in-depth knowledge about the fundamentals of EAP, and join us in person at a Chapter meeting or at our annual Conference.
What is EAP?
Learn about the field on the national EAP Association website. You will find information about the EAP Core Technologies, Program Standards, Code of Ethics & Code of Conduct. You can also find webinars on a variety of EAP related information and read more about the CEAP certification process.
Is there a student membership?
Yes! Students can join NIEAPA at reduced rate here and get some of the same great benefits of professional membership, including access to our members-only listserv.
How can I get involved?
The best way to learn more about the EAP field is to attend one of our Chapter meetings. Students can attend for only $5. Our annual Conference also offers a full day of educational sessions on a variety of EAP and behavioral health related topics. Students can volunteer at our annual Conference and in other capacities. Contact Sue Raddatz to sign up to volunteer at the Conference.
Who can I contact?
Priscilla Kang, chair of the student outreach committee, can provide guidance into other opportunities and answer most student-related questions.
